Emmajane Taylor-Moran recently joined Gelbergs in May 2011 as Head of the Employment Law Department, moving from a Legal 500 listed niche City firm. She qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and has 10 years overall experience in the law.

Employment Law

Emmajane has extensive experience in advising employers and employees in all aspects of employment law, and managing litigation in the tribunals and courts.

Emmajane provides practical and sensible legal advice to small and medium-sized businesses on day-to-day employment law issues, policies and procedures, managing redundancy processes, drafting and negotiating contracts and compromise agreements. She also advises employees on compromise agreements and has an excellent track record in negotiating favourable exit packages, particularly for high net worth individuals working in the financial services/banking industry.

Her work includes redundancy, unfair dismissal, discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, age, disability, religion, maternity and sexual orientation, as well as whistleblowing, retirement, complex TUPE claims, part-time and fixed-term workers, whistleblowing, health and safety dismissals, restrictive covenants and breach of contract.

Emmajane is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association.

Outside of work, Emmajane enjoys rural life in the Hertfordshire countryside.
