Emmajane provides practical and sensible legal advice to small and medium-sized businesses on day-to-day employment law issues, policies and procedures, managing redundancy processes, drafting and negotiating contracts and compromise agreements. She also advises employees on compromise agreements and has an excellent track record in negotiating favourable exit packages, particularly for high net worth individuals working in the financial services/banking industry.
Her work includes redundancy, unfair dismissal, discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, age, disability, religion, maternity and sexual orientation, as well as whistleblowing, retirement, complex TUPE claims, part-time and fixed-term workers, whistleblowing, health and safety dismissals, restrictive covenants and breach of contract.
Emmajane is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association.
Outside of work, Emmajane enjoys rural life in the Hertfordshire countryside.
